About Help Manage My Debt, Inc.
Providing attorneys with:
Helpmanagemydebt.com was uploaded in August 2006 with the intension to help level a playing field that is heavily tilted in favor of debt collection agencies, debt collectors, and collection attorneys. These unscrupulous debt collectors violate state and federal laws every day and probably every minute, but their abuses often go unnoticed, mostly by consumers who just do not know laws are being broken or that there are such laws that govern the debt collection industry. Nonetheless, consumers who have become victims of debt collectors have tools that can help them
stand up for their consumer rights.
One such tool for debtors is the
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). This federal act among other state laws helps prohibit debt collectors from collecting debt illegally.

Help Manage My Debt, Inc. provides in-depth information on the
Fair Debt collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act
(FCRA),
bankruptcy laws, and various other laws as they relate to debt collection, creditor harassment, and
debt collection lawsuits. More importantly,
Help Manage My Debt,
Inc. provides debtors an accessible source to find consumer law and bankruptcy lawyers in their states.

We also help attorneys increase their client base and create an attorney referral network that can help an attorney in one state refer a potential client to an attorney in another state.
We do this by providing attorney directories that are specifically
designed for each state and practice area (consumer law and bankruptcy
law). We also design pages for attorneys and law firms to be
listed on our website. (see our example).
In addition we design independent websites for attorneys and manage
sponsored search campaigns. To be listed on helpmanagemydebt.com, please
send us an e-mail to
FDCPA@helpmanagemydebt.com or write to us P.O. Box 20183, Bloomington, MN 55420.

Please Note:
We do not suggest that consumers avoid paying their bills and their
consumer debt. Rather, we think that every person should live up
to their consumer contractual obligations by paying their monthly bills
in a timely manner. Help Manage My Debt, Inc. does not intend to
exploit the laws that govern the debt collection industry or its debt
collectors. Our goal is to help consumers who need help with debt
collectors who do not collect debt lawfully in accordance with state and
federal debt collection laws.
